Services

Four things, properly.

Each of these is something we have built more than once. Everything on this page is delivered the same way: a fixed number before we start, a demo every week, and code that is yours from the first commit.

SaaS products

You have a product idea, or a service you deliver by hand today that could be one. We build the whole thing: the application your customers use, the accounts and subscriptions behind it, the admin side you will live in, and the infrastructure it runs on.

What you get is a product that takes payment on the day it launches, not a prototype that needs “productionising” by somebody else afterwards. The admin side is built as carefully as the customer side, because that is where you will spend your time.

What is included

  • Scoping and a clickable prototype before a line of production code
  • Accounts, teams, roles and permissions
  • Subscriptions and invoicing, with Mollie or Stripe
  • The admin side, built as carefully as the customer side
  • Deployed on your own cloud account, in an EU region
  • Handed over with documentation and access, not a ransom

Internal tools & portals

Most companies run on a spreadsheet three people are editing at once, a shared inbox, and one person who knows how it all fits together. It works, in the sense that the business runs. It also means the authoritative record of what happens on a Tuesday is a document nobody is allowed to close.

We replace that with a system that models how the work actually happens: the planning board for the team, the portal where your customers see their own things, and the automation for the steps nobody should be doing by hand. The data in the spreadsheet you have now comes with you.

What is included

  • Back-office dashboards and planning boards
  • Customer, supplier and partner portals
  • Document generation, e-signing and PDF
  • Role-based access for staff, clients and partners
  • Migration of the data in the spreadsheet you have now
  • Works on a phone, because the team is not at a desk

Integrations & automation

The accounting package, the CRM, the booking system and the webshop each hold a piece of the truth, and somebody re-types it between them. That somebody is usually the most expensive person in the building.

We build the glue: integrations with the systems you have, scheduled syncs with retries and a log you can actually read, and monitoring that tells you when one side stopped answering. Boring, done properly, and yours — no middleware subscription with a per-record price.

What is included

  • REST and webhook integrations with the systems you already use
  • Accounting, payments, CRM, email and calendar systems
  • Scheduled syncs with retries and a readable log
  • A public API for your own product, with documentation
  • Alerting when a sync fails, before a customer notices
  • Legacy system migration, one table at a time

Ongoing development

Software is not finished at launch; that is when you find out what it should have been. Ongoing development is a fixed number of days a month from the same people who built the system — for new features, the fixes that only surface with real use, and the dependency and security upgrades nobody thanks you for.

There is no ticket queue and no account manager. You plan the month with the person doing the work, you see a demo every week, and you can stop at the end of any month. Everything stays yours either way.

What is included

  • A fixed number of days per month, from the same team
  • Monthly planning with you, a demo every week
  • Dependency and security upgrades included
  • Hosting, backups and monitoring looked after
  • One person to call, who can change the thing you are asking about
  • Cancel monthly; everything stays yours

And not

What we do not do

Saying this out loud costs a few enquiries and saves everybody a month. If your project is on this list we will still take the call, and tell you who to talk to instead.

  • Staff augmentation

We do not rent out developers to sit in your team. We deliver software, with a scope and a price, and we are responsible for it working.

  • Native mobile apps

We build web applications that work well on a phone, which covers most of what people ask us for. If you genuinely need the App Store, we will say so and point you at someone who does that well.

  • Brochure websites and theme customisation

A good website builder is the right tool for a five-page site, and it will cost you a fraction of us. We will tell you which one.

  • Big-bang rewrites

A legacy system gets replaced one piece at a time, with a migration path and the old system running alongside until the new one has earned it. A rewrite that goes dark for a year and launches all at once is how companies lose a year.

Not sure which one you need?

Most projects are two of the four. Tell us what you are running today and we will say which — or whether something you can buy does the job.
