Short, because there is not much to say: this site sets no cookies and runs no analytics. The contact form collects what you type into it, and that is the whole list.

Who is responsible

This website
This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics and loads nothing from third-party servers: the fonts are served from our own domain. Our hosting provider records the usual technical log of requests (IP address, page requested, time, browser) to keep the site running and secure; those logs are kept for a short, fixed period and are not used to identify you.
The contact form
When you use the form on /contact, we receive what you typed: your name, your email address, your company if you gave it, the budget range you picked, and your message. It is sent to us as an email and is used for exactly one thing: replying to you and, if you ask us to, preparing a proposal. The legal basis is the steps you asked us to take before entering into a contract (article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
The email is delivered through SendGrid (Twilio Inc.), which processes it on our behalf under a data processing agreement. We keep enquiries for as long as the conversation is live and up to two years afterwards, so that we can pick it up if you come back, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
If you become a client
The data we then process — contact details, contracts, invoices, the contents of the systems we build for you — is covered by the agreement we sign, which includes a data processing agreement where we act as a processor for you. Invoices are kept for seven years, because Dutch tax law says so.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, ask us to stop processing it, or ask for a copy in a portable format. Email norwin.dijkman@plathena.com and we will answer within a month. If you are not satisfied with the answer, you can complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Changes
If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it. We will not use data collected under this version for a purpose it does not describe.
